He has 29 years of extensive experience ranging from conceptualization,construction, operations and maintenance of large oil and gas network including adopting and improving quality and safety standards across the entire supply chain. He has made a notable contribution to the development of technical and safety standards pertinent to Oil & Gas sector in varied executive roles in organizations like ASME, PNGRB, QCI and various national and international regulatory bodies. He has been the Chair for ASME, B31.8 “International Working Group, India from 2009 to 2018 and a Life Member of QCI, ISQ, ISTD and a member of ASME since 2009. Since 2019, serving as the Governing Council member of GIRDA, a Govt of Gujarat undertaking and founder member of ASME India Technical Chapter as well as Executive Committee member of ASME Pipeline System Division (PSD) Houston.

Recently co-chaired FICCI Committee on Disaster Management for 2022. He has also been appointed as an Executive Committee Member of AMPP India Chapter (Formerly NACE International India Section) for the year 2022-2023.

TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) Industry professional with 30+ years of rich experience in inspection of various products, procurement and field QA/QC experience of refinery, cross-country pipelines (Water, Oil & Gas), fertilizer, power plant (new and expansion) projects. In addition, auditing experience of more than 1000 plus man-days for QMS, OHSAS, FSMS, HACCP, SA 8000, Medical Devices-CE Marking. Has served as a Lead tutor and trainer for multiple management system programs like QMS, OHSAS, FSMS, Social Accountability, etc. He has also been General Manager (West Central Region, India), Country Chief Executive (Oman) and Director Marketing and Sales (Industry and Facilities) for South Asia Region with Bureau Veritas Group and Head of Product Certification, India with BSI.

Mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Engineering, PMC, Construction Management, Supervision, Execution, Commissioning of Oil and Gas Projects. Sound knowledge of Pipelines Construction, In-service Inspections, Reliability Studies, Audits as per PNGRB Regulations and he has handled engineering, inspection, factory & site acceptance testing/certification/sign off of complex Mechanical packages.

Experience in Training and Mentoring of Inspection Engineers. Having hands-on experience and training in Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing. Familiar with international codes and standards like API 6D, MSS SP 55, ASTM B11, etc. Also trained in ASME Section VIII Div-1.
